Behind in my reading of a purpose driven life with my group of girls. I read 11 today, will do 12 tonight after work. Enjoy the daily messages. Gives me hints and answers to things I wonder about in my head but don't really ever say. This mornings message about how and when to pray was good for me. Scotty called me this morning to check in, he's snowboarding in Mammoth. I love that as a 16 yr old he always ends his calls by telling me he loves me. Today is the end of week 4 of being unemployed. I hate financial stress. I have a lot to be thankful and grateful for. I hope the right job opportunity presents itself soon. I've considered starting my own bookkeeping business and once I get my 1st client and I don't have a full time job, I will really consider it. Been perusing various existing bookkeeping companies websites and I can perform all the same services. Just not sure yet. There's so much stability and safety in working for someone else. And if I don't land a decent paying job soon, I will have no choice but to go for it. There are so many small businesses that need accounting services and can't afford a full time or even a part time employee. That's where I come in. Handle their accounting for an amount that is fair and equitable to us both. I've also been looking at virtual offices here in OC and initially I think that's the way to go.
I'm also very excited for my friend Christine who finally became engaged last night. Congrats to her and her now fiancé Rob. Time to jump in the shower and head out to my accounting project. If I play my cards right, she may become my 1st client! We'll see. Bye for now
